| Consumer Lenders' Attorney Directory |
During the first quarter of 2010, NorthLegal Training and
Publications will be developing a directory of attorneys and
law firms throughout the United States who provide legal services
to credit unions, banks and other financial institutions and
will offer that "Consumer Lenders' Attorney Directory" on
this website without charge. The Directory will include attorneys
who handle the following six types of matters:
- Compliance
- Contract Review
- Corporate Governance
- General Litigation
- Bankruptcy
- Collections
We hope to have the Directory available by late February or
early March. Until then, this page will provide consumer
lenders with a look at what is coming and will provide attorneys
and law firms with the information you need in order to decide
whether you would like to be listed. |

| Information for Lenders |
| The Consumer
Lenders' Attorney Directory is intended to help you locate
an attorney or law firm who can provide you with legal services.
However, when using the Directory please remember the
following: |

Except as stated below, there is no relationship between the
attorneys and law firms listed in the directory and NorthLegal
Training and Publications. Listed attorneys do not endorse
and are not responsible for the material on this site or in NorthLegal
programs, nor does NorthLegal endorse or accept responsibility
for legal services provided by listed attorneys. Exercise due
diligence when chosing an attorney.
(As an exception, note that the Consumer Lenders' Attorney Directory
will be prepared and made available by NorthLegal Training and
Publications, and that attorney Eric M. North is the owner of
that company.) |

You should not expect there to be an attorney-client
relationship between you and any attorney until you and the attorney
agree there is such a relationship. Do not send confidential
information without verifying that confidentiality will be maintained. |

Listing in the Directory does not signify
that listed attorneys are willing to answer questions or provide
other services for free. Talk with each attorney you intend
to use regarding that attorney's billing practices. |

| Information for Attorneys
and Law Firms |
| As currently planned, the Consumer
Lenders' Attorney Directory will be developed and offered as
follows: |

The Directory
will be provided as a free service to consumer lending institutions
to help them obtain legal counsel. Lenders will not be
charged to access the directory; attorneys and law firms will
not be charged to be included in the Directory. There are
no plans to offer enhanced listings for a fee. |

Listings will initially be provided in
alphabetical order, based on the name of the attorney. In
the future, listings may also be provided by state and/or practice
area. |

There are no plans at this time to include
email addresses in the Directory. You will be required
to provide a functional email address to NorthLegal so that we
may contact you, but we will not sell, share or otherwise distribute
that email address without your consent. |
| • |
Initially, only one attorney will be listed
for each law firm. Please submit the name and contact information
of the attorney who should be the first point of contact for
a consumer lender seeking your firm's services. (After
we determine the number of firms that would like to be included
in the Directory we will consider whether it is feasible to list
multiple attorneys for each firm.) |

Reasonable efforts will be made to ensure
that all listings remain current. If you find an error, please
let us know. |
| • |
Reasonable efforts will be made to ensure
that only attorneys who have asked to be included appear in this
directory. If your name appears in error, if your workload prevents
you from accepting new business, or if you wish to have your
name removed for any reason at all, please let us know. Please
allow a reasonable amount of time for the removal to take place. |

If you and your firm are not listed and
you would like to be, please complete the form that appears when
you click here, then contact us by email or mail. We
will attempt to update this list as soon as we can. |
