Las Vegas, Nevada
In August 2008, the NorthLegal Bankruptcy Conference will return to Las Vegas, Nevada for an eighth consecutive year -- but this time to the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The Monte Carlo is located right in the heart of "the Strip," amid millions of lights and within easy walking distance of breathtaking sights, star-studded shows and world-class restaurants. From Celine Dion to Cirque de Soleil to blackjack; from Paris to Venice to New York, it's all within blocks of the Flamingo Las Vegas. Compared to Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida The basic material presented during the conference held in Las Vegas and the conference in January in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, will be the same. The primary purpose of conducting the program twice is to make it more available to credit unions in different parts of the country, credit unions with different schedules, and credit unions with different travel preferences. There may be a difference in guest speakers. Credit union attorney Eric North is the primary speaker at each location. Guest speakers have not yet been booked for either conference location.
NorthLegal Training and Publications is committed to making its programs affordable for large and small credit unions. As a result, the conference remains priced the same as it has for each of the past seven years. ( We encourage you to compare it with other programs!) Register by June 20,
2008 for $675 (This
date was extended at request of cohosts.) The registration fee covers the conference, two pre-conference NorthLegal Webinars ("Introduction to Bankruptcy" and "The Automatic Stay,") detailed handout materials (including sample form letters), a full lunch on Monday, a continental breakfast each morning, and afternoon break packages. The registration fee does not cover hotel accommodations or the "special session." The Monte Carlo is offering Conference participants the great rate of $95.00 per night. However, this rate is available only to the first 80 participants or until July 25, 2007, whichever comes first. You can make your room reservations in either of two ways, but be sure to say that you are with the "NLBC" or "NorthLegal Bankruptcy Conference" Group.:
