Conference Location

The NorthLegal Regulatory Conference will be held in September 2008 at The Catamaran Resort Hotel, right on Mission Bay in San Diego, and just a hundred yards from the warm Pacific Ocean.  The Catamaran Resort Hotel is one of the premium conference locations in the San Diego area, and is located just a short drive from SeaWorld, the Gaslight District, downtown San Diego, and other attractions.

Registering for the Conference

The conference priciing is as follows:

Register by July 4 for $675*
Register between July 5 and August 22 for $750*
Register after August 22 for $825*

The registration fee covers the conference, detailed handout materials, a full lunch on Monday, a continental breakfast each morning, and afternoon break packages. The registration fee does not cover hotel accommodations. (See below.)

* These prices assume the participant is a registered guest at The Catamaran Resort Hotel at least Monday through Wednesday nights.  Because the conference meeting room and food costs are calculated based in part on the number of registered hotel guests, it is important that participants register and stay at the conference hotel. The registration fees set forth above will be increased by $50.00 for any participant who is not a registered guest at The Catamaran Resort Hotel. This may be waived for participants who live locally and commute, or for those who share a room with another participant, if you request it.

Making Hotel Reservations

The Catamaran Resort Hotel has agreed to lower its rate for conference participants to only $159.00 per night. ($149 plus a $10 resort fee.)  Those who are familiar with this hotel and with hotels in the vicitiy will know this is an excellent rate!  You will probably want to register for at least Sunday through Wednesday evenings, but this special rate will be available three days before and three days after that time (based on availability). You may make reservations in either of two ways:

If you reserve your room under a name other than the name of the person registered for the conference, please be sure to let us know by sending an email to NLC@culaw.com.

Be aware! The Catamaran Resort Hotel is only holding a block of rooms for Conference participants until August 21st! When that block has filled, or when that date has passed (whichever occurs first), even if the conference still has seating available, rooms at The Catamarain Resort Hotel may be difficult to obtain!
