New rules and forms relating to reaffirmation agreements took effect  on 12/1/ 2009.

These rules establish a new deadline for filing reaffirmations, require a new cover sheet to be submitted with all reaffirmations, and update the official reaffirmation forms.  The new cover sheet and revised forms may create traps that could cause unwary creditors to suffer losses.

Every lender who submits reaffirmation agreements is already required to comply with these rules.

During this program, attorney Eric North walks participants through the new rules and forms, line by line, and discusses —

"Eric makes what would ordinarly be dry material interesting, with his stories and animated delivery style."

"Eric always does a fabulous job of boiling down a very complex subject into understandable bits."

The deadline for completing and filing a reaffirmation.
How to complete the new Official Form cover sheet.
How you could get "burned" by one of the questions on the cover sheet.
Whether you may continue to use the 1/2007 Official Reaffirmation Agreement, why you might want to do so, and what common errors to avoid if you do.
How to prepare the new 12/2009 Official Reaffirmation Agreement, changes you might want to make to it and how to make those changes, and mistakes to avoid.

and much more!
